Dear Texas Republican,

We are only days away from the official start of voting for the 2010 General Election. Early Voting begins Monday, October 18th across the state, and while Republicans have all the momentum in this cycle – we must not let up the fight!

Every volunteer is needed to help push our Republican candidates to victory. Texas Democrats like Bill White, are counting on our base to grow lazy and complacent with our leads in the polls, but we are setting the course to prove the liberals wrong through the Texas Trailblazers!

This weekend is the kickoff of the Trailblazers’ statewide blockwalking program in counties and races across the Lone Star State. Already, thousands of Republicans have signed up online to participate in the statewide blockwalk. Here at the RPT, Travis Griffin and staff have spent countless hours coordinating communication between the Trailblazer volunteers and our candidates and county parties. We have identified numerous volunteer opportunities through phone banks and blockwalking on this first weekend, and we have spaces reserved for you!

In the Dallas region, Trailblazers will activate this weekend for: Stefani Carter, Linda Harper Brown, Rodney Anderson, Kenneth Sheets, and Cindy Burkett.

In Arlington: Barbara Nash and Bill Zedler.

In Austin / Round Rock: Paul Workman, Dan Neil and Larry Gonzales.

In Waco and Bryan/College Station: Bill Flores for Congress.

In Corpus Christi: Connie Scott.

In Buda / San Marcos: Jason Isaac.

In El Paso: Dee Margo.

In Houston: Jim Murphy, Sarah Davis and Jack O’Connor.

In Lufkin: James White.

In Texarkana: George Lavender.

In Paris: Erwin Cain.
