The Republican Party of Texas is excited to announce our 2013 Local Candidate Training Seminar!
With filing for the 2014 primary underway, the Republican Party of Texas understands the importance of holding elected offices at every level. In fact, since the 2008 election, we have grown the number of elected Republicans in Texas by more than 900 offices!
During the seminar, participants will engage in a series of workshops and networking sessions with experienced, successful political professionals. They will be exposed to insider tips for every aspect of a political campaign. The topics that will be covered include getting your campaign started, building an effective network, communications and new media, fundraising, scheduling, and legal compliance. Space is limited and is being offered on a first come, first serve basis.
Our instructors have managed campaigns and political committees at every level. Some have raised record amounts of money for candidates while others have managed “come from behind” victories on a shoestring budget. One thing they all have in common is that they are effective.
This year’s school will be held December 12th and 13th in Austin at the DoubleTree Suites Downtown. In order to ensure meaningful and personal interaction between participants and instructors, seating is limited and applicants MUST have filed paperwork to be on the 2014 Republican Primary ballot. Only individuals who are running for State Representative or offices listed lower on the ballot are eligible to apply. The cost of the school is $300 and includes materials and scheduled meals.
