The Republican Party of Texas is excited to announce the return of our Campaign Management School! Because we had such an overwhelming response to our June program (three times as many applications as we had space available), we have scheduled a second Campaign Manager’s School for September 12-14.

The 2012 election is just around the corner and the Republican Party of Texas knows that as our party continues to grow, we must develop new talent for running successful campaigns. We hope that you will help us in this effort by applying for or nominating someone to attend our Campaign Management School.

Campaign Management School is a Professional Development Program for individuals who plan to manage a campaign during the 2012 Election Cycle. Participants will engage in a series of workshops and networking sessions with experienced, successful political professionals. They will be exposed to insider tips for every aspect of a political campaign – getting your campaign started, building an effective staff, communications and new media, fundraising, scheduling, working with your candidate without overworking your candidate, and managing consultants – these are just a few of the topics to be covered in this intense, 3 day boot camp.

Course graduates and instructors have managed campaigns and political committees at every level. Some of our instructors have raised record amounts of money for candidates while others have managed “come from behind” victories on a shoestring budget. One thing they all have in common is that they are effective.

We hope that you will join us in learning from the best and becoming a part of Campaign Management School legacy by either applying yourself, recommending or even sponsoring an “up and comer” in GOP politics for this course. Our September school will be held in Austin from September 12-14 at the Embassy Suites on Town Lake. In order to ensure meaningful and personal interaction between students and instructors, seating is limited to no more than 25 qualified and serious applicants. The cost of the school is $250.00 and covers materials and meals. Please complete the online application by Wednesday, August 31, 2011 for enrollment consideration. Registration payment will be due upon acceptance into the program.
