We are so proud of our interns at the RPT this summer and fall that we want you all to know about the amazing work and impact that these young people are making in our state.

The interns stayed busy all summer working on a number of event planning, research, campaign, data and fundraising projects for RPT, but on top of that made over 25,000 phone calls and knocked on over 2,500 doors. They also spent the week in Fort Worth with us at the State Convention and were able to meet many elected officials including Senator Ted Cruz, Senator Rand Paul, Attorney General Greg Abbott and many more.

Our summer interns came from all over the United States: Mary Mullins attends The College of William & Mary in Virginia, Abby Sinclair attends Texas State University in San Marcos, RJ Carney attends Plymouth State University in New Hampshire, Shooter Russell attends the University of Texas, Kristina Murphyattends the University of Montana, and Ross Van de Kop attends the University of Texas.

Our interns this Fall are just as special. The interns this Fall went above and beyond to work on volunteer recruitment, spending their weekends and even recruiting friends to help with block walking and phone banking, making tens of thousands of calls and knocking on thousands of doors. They helped with critical data entry and collection as we started to get the returns of early voting. They played a critical role in the success of our efforts.

Our fall interns: Abby Sinclair from our summer internship program returned for a second stint, Chris Bellamy attends Texas State University in San Marcos, Rico Rodriguez attends Texas State University in San Marcos, Kelly Smit attends the University of Texas, Sid Kincke attends the University of Texas, andClarissa Ureste attends the University of Texas.
