Early voting beings TODAY to elect the next State Representative in House District 50 and we need your help! The Republican Party of Texas has a phone bank in our downtown Austin office for a strong Get Out the Vote effort. This election is a great opportunity for Republicans to pick up a previously Democratic seat in the Texas Legislature at a time when national Democrats have increased their efforts across the state. Dr. Mike VanDeWalle is the ONLY REPUBLICAN running against THREE DEMOCRATS to fill the vacant seat in HD 50.
Dr. VanDeWalle is a trusted community doctor who has owned and operated his own business in North Austin for over 30 years and understands the values and needs of this district. We need all Republicans to lend a hand to ensure that we have a voice representing us in this part of Travis County.
Early voting will run through Friday, November 1st and at select polling locations on Saturday(10/26) and Sunday (10/27). During the early voting period, a registered voter can vote atANY polling location in the county they are registered in, and don’t forget to take your ID with you to the polls as you will not be able to vote without it under Texas’ new voter ID law.
