The Republican Party of Texas is proud to announce that we are hosting our first ever Campaign Leadership Program. As part of a commitment by the RPT to provide training as needed to all of our volunteers, staff and candidates, this day and a half long training program is the perfect opportunity for the campaign volunteer who is looking forward to a leadership role within a campaign organization or county executive committee.

The RPT is excited to offer the first ever school of this kind to our volunteers and campaign workers across the state so they may better benefit our Republican campaigns. Some of the topics to be discussed include:

  • Being a Great Regional Campaign Coordinator
  • Effectively Leading Other Volunteers – organizing phone banks, block walks and yard sign distribution
  • Media Watch: What campaigns need from their press captains
  • Making the most of Twitter, Facebook and YouTube
  • Helping your candidate raise money
  • How the County Party can best help local and statewide candidates
  • Building a great event for your campaign or political organization
  • Voter Vault – using it effectively for your candidate
  • Understanding and achieving vote goals

While specific details are still being arranged, one thing is for sure – we are going to pack everything you need to know about helping your candidate win into a day and a half leadership seminar. Names of attendees will be forwarded to our GOP campaigns as leaders who we know are most dedicated to the cause.
