DESCRIPTION:The Lost Pines Republican Women (LPRW) will host its 5th biennial GOP Primary Candidate Forum on Thursday\, January 29\, 2026 at the Bastrop Convention Center located at 1408 Chestnut Street in the City of Bastrop. The Forum will begin with networking at 5:30 PM and the program will start at 6:15 PM. \nBrandon Waltens\, Senior Editor for Texas Scorecard\, will emcee this event. The Forum is free and open to the public. \nAll Republican candidates running for state and county elected office in contested races have been invited. Exhibitor tables will open at 5:30 for one-on-one conversation with candidates and Forum sponsors. Members of the public are encouraged to attend to learn about these candidates prior to early voting which begins Tuesday\, February 17. Primary election day is Tuesday\, March 3. \nVisit LostPinesRW.club for a list of confirmed Forum participants.
