AUSTIN, TX – On Monday, Texas Secretary of State Rolando Pablos referred a complaint regarding pre-filled voter registration applications sent to Texas residents who are ineligible to vote to the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for investigation. Chairman James Dickey commented:

“Secretary Pablos has done a good job of taking this complaint seriously and ensuring we protect ballot integrity. If the complaint against the Texas Democratic Party is true, then they are encouraging foreign influence into our election process, and demonstrating that they will stop at nothing to gain power. The right to vote in the United States is reserved for American citizens and any attempt to subvert our process degrades the integrity of every voter’s ballot.

“I’m confident that General Paxton’s office will give this the thorough investigation it deserves and get to the bottom of this complaint and ensure ballot integrity.”
