AUSTIN – Today, the Texas Republican House Committee, a project of the Republican Party of Texas, unveiled a new website titled, “The Many Faces of Carol Kent” at The website contains a detailed and methodical documentation of Kent’s deceptive attitudes regarding her failed record toward Texas families and businesses.

“This website provides the documentation which clearly establishes that Representative Carol Kent is out of step with her district,” said RPT Chairman Steve Munisteri. “She has consistently voted to grow government, raise taxes and opposed Voter ID. To make matters worse, her record is one of being soft on crime and there are legitimate questions concerning a conflict of interest pertaining to her votes on taxes on gasoline since her husband’s law firm represents interests which could possibly benefit from higher taxes.”

Munisteri continued, “The RPT is privileged to have Stefani Carter as its nominee for HD 102, as she is an intelligent, hard-working and above all – committed to not raising taxes, stopping the growth of government, and upholding conservative values. We are optimistic that once the record of Carol Kent is fully exposed, that Stefani Carter will be elected in a victory that sends a message to both Austin and Washington that the people of HD 102 reject the failed liberal policies of the Democratic Party.”

“Just like most of her Democrat allies in this election cycle, Carol Kent is intent on running away from her record as an Obama style liberal,” said RPT spokesman Chris Elam. “Starting today with this website, the RPT is on a mission to spend the next four weeks repeatedly reminding District 102 residents about each of Carol Kent’s many faces. Try as she might – she can’t hide them all from the voters. Any one of her many liberal faces is enough reason to reject this out-of-touch candidate, but we urge voters to become familiar with them all.”
