U.S. GDP Hits 4.1% in Q2 of 2018

AUSTIN – This morning, the U.S. Commerce Department revealed a 4.1% expansion of the U.S. economy for the second quarter of 2018. This is the highest level of growth in almost four years. Chairman James Dickey had this to say:

“America, and Texas, are back in business. We are seeing staggering growth and job creation everywhere. Our nation, just like the Lone Star State, is benefiting from Republican leadership who advocate for free market principles which translate into economic success.” said Dickey. “This strong growth is in stark contrast to the tiny increases under the Obama administration. That is why it is vital to vote Republican in November; we must ensure this economic growth can continue for the benefit of all Americans and their families.”

The recent GDP growth serves as an excellent example of what a conservative approach to the economy, and government, can accomplish. The Trump administration has suggested they expect even higher growth numbers in the future.
