Dear Fellow Texas Republicans,

While the summer months have come to a close, the Republican Party of Texas (RPT) is just heating up – September was another BUSY month for the Republican Party of Texas and myself. We traveled throughout our beautiful state, spoke with countless clubs, welcomed the President, and much more. Needless to say, the RPT is firing on all cylinders as we ramp up efforts for 2020.

Before we get to that, I would like to take a moment to remember an incredible Texan – T. Boone Pickens – a true patriot firmly rooted in his principles. His efforts to lead the United States to energy independence will forever impact the future of our great state and nation. Pickens’ incredible success demonstrates what can be accomplished with self determination and hard work – his story is a true representation of American values. His generosity was unparalleled – he had given over $1 billion to charity. Our prayers go out to his family during this difficult time.

I had the great honor of welcoming President Donald Trump back to Texas as he arrived at Ellington Field in Houston where he attended the “Howdy Modi!” event at NRG Stadium. Over 50,000 Indian-Americans came together to hear how President Trump and Prime Minister Modi plan on continuing to strengthen trade relations between the United States and India.

SREC members, RNC National Committeeman Robert Armstrong, Republican State Representatives and Senators, County Chairs and other great Republican Texans joined me to welcome President Trump to Houston

This month the RPT had the pleasure of hosting fundraising events with Governor Greg Abbott in Austin and Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick in Fort Worth. It was great to see new and old faces show their support at these events which keep us on the path to winning in 2020. We thank the Governor and Lieutenant Governor both for their time and all of the effort they are putting in to help us keep Texas red!

Governor Greg Abbott attended an RPT reception in Austin.
Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick attended an RPT dinner and reception in Fort Worth. Thank you to our hosts Vince Puente, Mona Puente, Mona Bailey, Bill Bailey and many others for their hard work.

As I travel the Lone Star state, I continue to spread the Red Alert Texas message to Republican groups to remind them just what’s at stake in 2020 – 38 electoral votes, a Republican majority, and so much more.

As you know, the 2020 election will bring new challenges because we’re seeing Democrat excitement at all time highs. We must rise to meet these challenges by working harder than ever to engage more volunteers, register more voters, and assist new candidates across the state. Democrats have made it clear that they are working hard to target Texas’ 38 electoral votes.  Please join your fellow Republicans and get involved today by clicking here

Corpus Christi Republican Club was one of the many groups where I presented the Red Alert Texas presentation.
