Texas Republicans Build Momentum for Red Wave in November

Austin, TX, Release: March 21, 2022 — For Immediate Release

The Republican Party of Texas (RPT) has announced Texas Senator Brandon Creighton
(R-Conroe) as 2022 Victory Chair. Senator Creighton will lead the efforts of the RPT Victory Fund, which is used across the state to register record numbers of new Republican voters and will continue the record-setting pace of Republican turnout to help our candidates win up and down the ballot.

RPT Chairman Matt Rinaldi said, “Senator Creighton has been one of our strongest legislative
conservatives for more than 15 years. There is no one better suited to take our message of smaller government, secure borders, lower taxes and public safety to the voters in an election where record numbers are turning to the Republican Party as an alternative to the disastrous and destructive policies of the Biden administration and Texas Democrats.”

Creighton represents District 4 in the Texas Senate which encompasses parts of Montgomery, Harris, Chambers, Jefferson and Galveston Counties. Creighton put himself through UT Austin working as a pipefitter at Texaco Chemical, and as a policy analyst in the Texas Senate. Creighton also worked as an investigator for the Texas Attorney General, and as a briefwriter for the Oklahoma Attorney General in the criminal appellate division.

As a member of the Texas House (2007-2014), Creighton built a reputation as a conservative leader, and led a national movement among state legislatures to reclaim and reaffirm state sovereignty, pushing back against unconstitutional federal overreach from Washington, D.C. Creighton was chosen among his colleagues to lead the largest Republican majority of House Members in the nation, continuing to advance conservative Texas policies. RedState.com named Creighton ‘The man who kept Obamacare out of Texas’ during his time as the Republican Caucus Chairman. Throughout his tenure in the Texas Senate, Creighton has been a leader on property tax relief, border security, and led the effort to ban Critical Race Theory in Texas.

“What we are witnessing in Washington, D.C. is the death of common sense. The woke, leftist agenda has abandoned Texas families that are facing crushing inflation, record high gas prices, and an open border,” said Senator Creighton. “The American people need Texas now more than ever to hold the line against the Biden Administration, and we will only do that with strong Republican majorities. I want to thank Chairman Rinaldi for asking me to head up the Victory Fund, and I look forward to working with him to deliver strong, conservative majorities for 2022.”

Creighton has a real estate and law practice in Conroe, Texas, where his family resides. He is an 8th generation Montgomery County, Texas resident, and is consistently ranked as one of the most conservative in the Texas Senate.
