First Day of Early Voting for the General Election: Monday, October 20, 2025

Last Day to Apply for a Ballot by Mail in the General Election (request must be received, not merely postmarked): Friday, October 24, 2025

Last Day of Early Voting in the General Election: Friday, October 31, 2025

General Election Day: Tuesday, November 4, 2025

Deadline for Ballot by Mail to be Received in the General Election: Tuesday, November 4, 2025 (election day) at 7:00 p.m. if carrier envelope is not postmarked, OR Wednesday, November 5, 2025 (next business day after Election Day) at 5:00 p.m. if carrier envelope is postmarked by 7:00 p.m. at the location of the election on Election Day (unless overseas or military voter deadlines apply)

Voting by Mail

You may request a ballot by mail in Texas if you:

  1. will be away from your county on Election Day and during the hours that early voting is conducted;
  2. are sick or disabled; (as defined in Texas Election Code 82.002(a))
  3. Expected to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day;
  4. are 65 years of age or older on Election Day; or
  5. are confined in jail or Involuntary Civil Commitment
