We hope that you are planning to join us in Fort Worth this summer for the Republican Party of Texas State Convention and Presidential Straw Poll.

State Convention offers delegates and alternates opportunities to meet candidates for office, hear from elected officials, vote on the party platform and elect party leadership.  In addition, at this convention, all convention attendees will have the opportunity to cast their ballot in the 2016 Presidential Straw Poll. But first you must be elected as a delegate or alternate, then register to attend and book your hotel room.

Senate District and County Conventions are being hosted across the State this weekend, Saturday, March 22nd.  If you want to be elected as a Delegate or Alternate to State Convention, you must be elected at this weekend’s convention.  Every county and SD is different so check with your local party for convention details here.

After you’re elected, you’ll need to register for convention and book your hotel room.  RPT is holding room blocks at discounted rates and these blocks will open to ALL Delegates and Alternates on Monday, March 24th at 2:00 PM.  At that time, you can check the RPT website for hotel information and reservation codes for hotel rooms.
