Texas GOP Announces U.S. Rep. Beth Van Duyne as Victory Chair 2024
- Jordan Leighty
Austin, TX – Monday, September 9, 2024 – The Texas GOP proudly announces Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne (TX-24) as the 2024 Victory Chair. Congresswoman Van Duyne has been a champion for conservative values from Irving City Hall where she served on the City Council and as Mayor to Washington D.C., where she currently represents Texas’s 24th Congressional District.
The Republican Victory effort will offer critical support in the final 60 Days of the campaign to ensure President Donald J. Trump, Senator Ted Cruz, and all Republicans down the ballot are elected.
Republican Party of Texas Chairman Abraham George said, “The insane policies of Kamala Harris and Colin Allred are felt by Texans every day, with recent polls showing 77% of Texans struggle with the cost of groceries. I am thrilled to have Congresswoman Van Duyne lead our solid Republican ticket to victory this November.”
“In just a few short years, the Biden-Harris Administration, along with support from dutiful Leftists like Colin Allred, has done catastrophic damage to our nation’s economy, national security, and God-given liberties. Our working and middle-class families have been utterly punished with rampant inflation, job-killing regulations, and open border policies that have empowered Mexican Cartels and endangered our neighborhoods with a flood of criminal aliens,” said Congresswoman Van Duyne. “This is our moment to stand up, fight back, and re-elect President Trump and Senator Cruz so we can get back to polices that protect our nation, expand our economy, and deliver far greater prosperity for all our families.”
Alongside Chairman George, Congresswoman Van Duyne will assist the Texas Victory efforts by working to expand field operations in key regions, raise critical funds to help communicate with more voters, and rally Texans to vote early to make sure they don’t miss this historic opportunity to re-elect President Trump, Senator Cruz, and a Republican State House majority.
About Congresswoman Van Duyne: Prior to serving in the Trump Administration and the U.S. Congress, Beth was the first woman Mayor of Irving, TX where she was known for conservative governance that lowered tax rates, combatted criminal illegal immigration, and expanded job growth through relentless recruiting of business relocation or expansion. Beth enjoyed a 25-year career working with startup companies, mid-size private companies, and Fortune 500 corporations like Verizon, American Airlines, and SAP. Beth is a magna cum laude
graduate of Cornell University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with studies in City and Regional Planning, Government and Law. She has two wonderful children, Katie and Pearce.
