The Republican Party of Texas held a meeting on September 14th with several Hispanic Republican leaders from across the state. These individuals represented various county parties, statewide and local outreach organizations who have been working in their respective areas to grow our party among minority groups. The meeting provided an opportunity for our Hispanic Republican grassroots to connect with each other, learn about their collective efforts, and find opportunities for future collaboration. Also, they heard from our State Chairman Steve Munisteri who gave them an update on all the efforts RPT has been involved with to grow the participation in our political process and support for our party among the Hispanic community.

All attendees got a chance to present on the issues they face in their cities/counties and talked about the ways in which they work to increase Hispanic participation in the Republican Party. They also presented suggestions as to improvements that can be done in general to our Hispanic outreach effort. Jon McClellan from the Ted Cruz Campaign, Maricruz Molina with Texans for Greg Abbott and Miguel Romano and Manny Salazar from Associated Republicans of Texas were also present to show their support for our Hispanic Republican grassroots who continuously work to expand Texas GOP support among the Latino community.
